Visita Zip Line en San Jose de Ocoa

Polo Barahona

Polo, Magnetico

We will have a stop in 5 minutes at the Magnetic Pole where you can experience the magnetism or the illusion of the attraction of the vehicle, placed in a neutral gear that is "going up"

Cabral + Barahona

We will take a photo as a souvenir at the Cabral and Barahona signs, where there is also a small kiosk where, if you prefer, you can buy some handmade souvenir created by the locals.

Talleres Artesanales de Larimar

The jewel of larimar and its community workshops, where families are polishing this semi-precious stone of varied colors of blue, here you can observe and even buy and/or carve your own jewel with them... this is located in the community of Bahoruco , where you will also enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the area.

Villa Miriam, un paradisíaco lugar

You will get to know this charming house where we can find a series of pools fed by the San Rafael River that run along the property, springing from the lush hills of the area. This private property was created in 1970 by Mr. Nabij Khoury, a Lebanese merchant and industrialist based in Barahona, Dominican Republic. The name of Villa Miriam was given in honor of his wife Miriam; Dominican whom I love and with whom I have been married for 58 years. Villa Miriam was his creation, his rest home for 30 years.

Dominican Breakfast

Haitian Dominican Border

Border market only open Monday and Friday, where the town of Pedernales opens its doors to the Haitian Market near the border between the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The market takes place in a wide open field with outdoor stalls where Haitian vendors sell goods ranging from vegetables to second-hand clothing and electronics. It's a big flea market

Mina de Bauxita/Carretera Alcoa

Admire the geological formations of the Bauxite Mine. As well as the panoramic views while we feel the changes in vegetation in less than 30 kilometers. We will see how we went from a dry forest to a pine forest in a scaled way and in a short period of time.

Parque Nacional Jaragua

Get to know the Pozos de Romeo, there are three cenotes, one very small, another where you can swim, and another where you must enter by jumping since it is high and you climb up the rock, clearly this is optional.

Oviedo Lagoon Visitor Center
