Tour Description
Welcome to the Larimar Mine Tour!
We will start our amazing tour by visiting the Larimar Mine, where you will have the opportunity to see the extraction of this beautiful semi-precious stone with a unique blue color in the world. You will learn about the entire extraction and selection process of larimar and see first-hand how miners work in the mine to obtain this beautiful gemstone.
Then, we will continue our tour to the Larimar School Workshop and Museum, where you can appreciate jewelry made by local artisans and learn more about the history and culture of larimar. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to acquire larimar jewelry if you wish.
After our visit to the workshop school, we will head to the beautiful Paraíso Beach, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch facing the sea. You can relax and enjoy the scenery while tasting typical food of the region.
Finally, we will have free time to enjoy the beach before returning to your accommodation.
This tour to the Larimar Mine and Paraíso Beach is a unique experience that you cannot miss during your visit to the Dominican Republic.

Tour Program
Mina de Larimar
You will be picked up at your hotel in a safari-style van and taken to the Philippines, a small community where the only blue Pectonite mine in the country and in the world is located, Larimar, a blue semi-precious stone. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views. During the visit to the mine, you will be able to observe the miners in the process of extracting the stone and accompany them in their search if you wish. Escuela Taller y Museo Larimar
You will visit the Larimar Workshop School and Museum, where you will learn about the process of making jewelry from the larimar stone, a unique semi-precious stone in the world with a beautiful blue color, declared the national stone of the Dominican Republic. In this place, you will even be able to buy if you like.
Paraíso
You will enjoy lunch and rest time in the impressive municipality of Paraíso, located in front of the sea of a thousand shades of blue, known for its impressive natural beauty. It is located on the southern coast of the country and features lush green hills and mountainous landscapes, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
