You will be able to spot endemic species such as the eastern Chat-Tanager (E), narrow-billed Tody (E), Hispaniola spindalis (E), Hispaniola trogon (E), Hispaniola parakeet (E), Hispaniola emerald ( E), Ash-faced Owl (E), Rufous-throated Solitaire, Ruddy Quail-Dove and Scale-naped Dove. Being surrounded by these beautiful birds will give you a unique and memorable experience.

After the exciting birdwatching session, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch on site, recharging your energy as you indulge in the local flavors. In the afternoon, we will move to Puerto Escondido. Before arriving, we will do one last bird watching session on the Rabo del Gato Trail. Here you will be able to spot species such as the White-fronted Dove (E), Broad-billed Tody (E), Narrow-billed Tody (E), White-necked Crow (E), Hispaniola Purse (E), Hispaniola Parakeet (E ), Scaled Nap Dove, Common Dove, Ruddy Quail Dove, Key West Quail Dove, and Stolid Flycatcher. It will be one more opportunity to appreciate the diversity of birds in the region and enjoy the tranquility of the natural environment.

After a day full of sightings, we will go to the hotel in Puerto Escondido, where you can rest and prepare for the adventures that await us in the coming days.

We will get up early in the morning and head towards the beautiful north slope of the Sierra de Bahoruco. Throughout the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting bird watching session in Zapotén and in the pine forest. This place is a true paradise for bird lovers, and you will be surrounded by incredible diversity.

After a morning filled with wonderful sightings, we will return to Villa Barrancoli. In the afternoon, we will embark on an exciting excursion to La Mina. Here you will have the opportunity to spot the elusive Haitian nightjar, if luck is on our side. This nocturnal experience will be fascinating and will allow you to immerse yourself in the world of the nocturnal birds of the region.

After a day full of emotions and avifaunistic discoveries, we will return to the hotel in Villa Barrancoli, where you can relax and share your experiences with other bird enthusiasts.
