Tour Description
The tour will begin with a visit to the Natural Tunnel of Los Olivares, a natural wonder formed by limestone that has been eroded by water. Next, the next stop will be at La Casita de Juan Bosch, where visitors can learn about the life and work of the renowned Dominican writer and politician.
Afterwards, the tour will head to the Romeo Wells, an impressive set of crystal clear water pools surrounded by tropical vegetation. There, visitors can refresh themselves and enjoy the scenery.
The next stop will be at the Oviedo Lagoon, a protected wetland where various species of birds and crocodiles live. During the visit, tourists can take a boat tour and observe the flora and fauna of the area.
Finally, the tour will reach its main destination: the Bay of Eagles. Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, this bay has an extensive beach of white sands and crystal clear turquoise waters. Laguna de Oviedo
Visit to the Jaragua National Park, home to a wide variety of exotic birds and marine species. You will be able to see the iguana keys and enjoy the famous clay sand bath. To end the tour, there will be a short walk along the shore of the lagoon until you reach the visitor center. Duration: 3 hours. Entrance included.
Parada en La Colonia
To enjoy a cold beer and freshly made white cheese with garlic crackers. Duration: 20 minutes. Free entrance.
Bahía de las Águilas
Visit to one of the most beautiful and virgin beaches in the Caribbean, characterized by its crystal clear water, fine white sand, and a large amount of marine life. The road to the beach begins at the Cabo Rojo Wetlands, where you can observe daily life and local culture. This community is an authentic place, with a long tradition of fishing and shellfishing. Duration: 3 hours. Entrance included.
